Professional Experience

Jonathan brings 15 years of investment and business development experience.

Throughout his career, he invested $6 billion in private debt and equity securities of 35 middle
market companies across a broad range of industries.

Prior to founding Perennial Group, Jonathan served as a Director at KKR, where he co-led a

strategy focused on providing principal investment and capital markets solutions to founder

and family-owned businesses. In addition to investment origination and execution, Jonathan

was responsible for managing all facets of this effort, including (i) strategy planning and goal
setting, (ii) client management and marketing, and (iii) process and system implementation.
 

Before joining KKR, he was a Vice President at Capital Dynamics, brought on as the first hire by the group Co-Heads to lead the launch of the firm’s Private Credit business.
 

Previously, Jonathan was a Senior Associate at Ares Management, and he began his career as
an Investment Banking Analyst at Wells Fargo Securities.

​​Jonathan holds a B.S. in Commerce with a concentration in Finance and a minor in
Anthropology from the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce.​​​
